SSP is an acronym for System Support Program. It was the operating system on the IBM S/34 and S/36.
On V5R3, it can be installed on the AS/400 using LPP 5722SS1, Option 5, OS/400 - System/36 Environment and installs to library QSSP.
On older versions of OS/400, it is located in library #LIBRARY.
