Resave, also known as respin, is an IBM term for a recreation of operating system and/or licensed internal code for a given release.
IBM periodically releases new Resave media. Resaves are often Machine Code (5722-999) but occasionally a Resave is made available for i5/OS (5722-SS1).[1]
