MQ server is an LPP of OS/400. Its name is WebSphere MQ for iSeries, Version 6 Release 0, more usually expressed as WebSphere MQ V6.0..[1] It provides the ability to send messages (the "M") via queues (the "Q") to various other servers, platforms and operating systems.
