Bachelors Degree in Computer Science from Trinity University, 1981.

Programming on IBM Midrange Computers (System/34, System/36, System/38, & AS/400) since graduating.

Started work with Datascan America (bought out by Online Software) which sold a query language (Datascan & ExecuTrieve) on various platforms including the IBM Midrange.

While working at Builders Square in 1988 was involved in the AS/400 Beta program with the original B60 model. Was trained on the AS/400 right along with IBM SEs.

Worked with various retailers (Builders Square, Price Club, FiestMart, J.Jill) over the years. Worked for six years as a contract programmer in Houston (1992-1998) with clients including Phibro Refining, Wiltel, Riviana Foods & Schlumberge.

Midrange language experience includes RPGII, RPGIII, RPG IV, ILE RPG, COBOL/34, COBOL/36, COBOL/38, COBOL/400, ILE COBOL, OCL, CLP38, CLP400 and ILE CLP.

Interests include User Interface Design, Database Design, Development Methodologies and Retail Inventory Systems.
