x5250 is a 5250 emulator written primarily by James Rich which uses the X11 Window System and lib5250 from the tn5250 project.
x5250 includes the following features:
- enhanced 5250 protocol support via lib5250
- simple copy and paste which can automatically align blocks of text
- extensive user customization
- key remapping
- very fast
x5250 runs on several platforms including Linux, Solaris, FreeBSD, and even Linux on an iSeries LPAR. x5250 should compile and run on any platform that has a C compiler and supports X11.
There are several screenshots of x5250 on the x5250 main site. x5250 is licensed under the GPL.
