PTF is an acronym which stands for Program Temporary Fix. PTF's are updates, or modifications, to OS and software packages that are released between major releases.
Numbering
Note: Fix IDs that start with the letters...[1]
- TC indicate that the entire cumulative PTF package has been applied.
- TA indicate that the HIPER fixes and HIPER Licensed Internal Code fixes have been applied.
- TL indicate that the HIPER Licensed Internal Code fixes have been applied.
Status codes
During an IPL, and afterwards on the QWCCRTEC report, control panel status code C900 2967 will be displayed when applying PTFs. [2]
